Cameron,J Lo, Brooklyn & More Cover REDBOOK June 2012

With their new movie set to hit theaters on May 18th, the stars of “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” amped up promotions by landing the cover of the June 2012 issue of REDBOOK magazine.

Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Brooklyn Decker, Anna Kendrick and Elizabeth Banks all looked lovely for the Ruven Afanador shot spread while opening up about family expansion related topics.

Cameron Diaz on feeling pressured to have kids:
“I’m sure a lot of people would expect that I would have had a child by my age. But it’s not what I’ve wanted out of my life thus far. We still live in a largely chauvinistic world. There’s a box people put themselves in, and when you [live] outside of it, that makes them uncomfortable–they have to look at themselves and question their own choices.”

Elizabeth Banks on whether or not there’s a “right” time to get pregnant:
“I definitely don’t think [you have to wait for] a right time. I mean: Why wait? The Chinese believe that if you have a baby, what you want comes together even better. You just do it, and make it work.”

Jennifer Lopez on making it work, day to day:
“My sanctuary is my bathtub. That’s really the only time I get to myself. It’s usually around 15 or 20 minutes, but for me, those minutes are like heaven on earth. Sometimes I even say a little prayer while I’m in there. I’m like, ‘Lord, help me get through this day!’”

Cameron Covers May Issue of Instyle Magazine [Scans] !

Cameron Diaz smiles in Valentino on the cover of InStyle‘s May issue, on newsstands this Friday (April 20).

Here’s what the 39-year-old actress had to share:

On her love life: “I would never have guessed that I would end up dating any of the guys I’ve dated—never! There’s no through-line between them. But I love love, and love comes from many different places. When I was going through a bit of a heartbreak a little while ago, I said to a friend, ‘Wow, this really hurts!’ And he said to me, ‘That just shows you what your capacity for loving is.’

On having children: “Society definitely puts pressure on women to make them think their lives should go a certain way. I’ve never said I don’t want children—I just haven’t had children yet. I don’t know what’s going to happen in my life! I could end up adopting children. I could end up with a partner who already has children. Who knows? I’m not trying to fit into anyone’s box about how I should be. I just fit in my own box.”

On her new project as a nutrition educator: “Everyone needs to find a purpose, and I think mine is to help other people. This project is only in the blueprint stages, but I’m creating a space where I can teach healthy habits that girls can build on. I see women struggling with their bodies because they don’t know how they work on basic levels, starting with nutrition. The more I talk about this with people , the more I realize how much it’s needed. I’m really throwing all of my energy into it.”

Cameron in New “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” Clip!

Cameron Diaz gives her ex-boyfriend Alex Rodriguez a taste of what he’s missing, showing off her toned body in a new trailer for “What To Expect When You’re Expecting.”

Diaz sports a red sequined bra and microscopic skirt in a sneak peek of her new film that no doubt has the producers of “Dancing with the Stars” drooling, too. In the film, Diaz plays Jules Baxter, a fitness guru and aspiring singer appearing on a faux reality TV show called “Celebrity Dance Factor.” Apparently, the character has fallen for her dance partner, played by Matthew Morrison, who shows off his own dance skills in the clip.

The trailer for “What To Expect” masquerades as a commercial for “Celebrity Dance Factor.” Whitney Port of MTV’s “The City” and basketball star Dwayne Wade add authenticity as fellow celebrity dancers. Meanwhile, British pop star Cheryl Cole, “So You Think You Can Dance” guest judge Tyce Diorio and Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas step in, playing judges of the series.

But the star of the clip is Diaz, who stuns with her her long legs, toned abs, and muscular arms. As she performs a Latin dance filled with shimmies, lifts and a dramatic backbend it’s clear that Diaz has ample dance experience. The former cheerleader also famously showed off her dance skills in her breakthrough role in “The Mask.”

“What To Expect When You’re Expecting” opens in theaters on May 18. It also stars Jennifer Lopez, Brooklyn Decker, Anna Kendrick, Chase Crawford and Chris Rock.

And she’s a fan of the sporty watch brand: “The first watch I bought was a Tag Heuer at 18,” said Diaz. “The look of a watch on a man or woman is just so sexy and appealing.” Watch a behind-the-scenes video of her new campaign below.

Second trailer for “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”

Inspired by the ubiquitous pregnancy bible, What To Expect When You’re Expecting is a romantic comedy that follows five couples preparing for parenthood. And while the first trailer gave us a look at what impending motherhood does to the likes of Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Elizabeth Banks, Brooklyn Decker and Anna Kendrick, the latest trailer is all about the dudes.

Here the spotlight is shined on the daddies of Dude Group, who wear BabyBjorns with serious swagger and have a few rules to keep every bro-dude in check. One: What’s said in Dude Group stays in Dude Group. Two: There’s no judging among dudes. Chris Rock, Thomas Lennon, Ben Falcone, Rob Huebel and Amir Talai lay it down for new dad Rodrigo Santoro in this latest promo.

With a cast stacked with amiable stars and cutting comedians, What To Expect When You’re Expecting seemed promising; however, these trailers reveal just how overstuffed with storylines this flick is, leaving me to ponder how satisfying the storytelling could possibly be. Ever since the resounding success of Love Actually studios have been seeking to pile up massive star power in charming rom-com packaging, yet none have thus far proved a match to their inspiration (remember Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve?). And I doubt Kirk Jones, the director of the painfully dull Everybody’s Fine, will break the streak. Tack on this trailer’s emphasis on the daddies’ us-versus-mommies mentality, and What To Expect falls into deeply tired territory. Beyond that it’s baffling to me that Lionsgate seems to think men will be attracted to this title, even with a trailer dripping in Hangover-styled child-endangerment humor.

What To Expect When You’re Expecting opens May 18th.
