Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez’s strange behaviour at New York party

Just what is the score with Cameron Diaz and Madonna’s former squeeze, baseball player Alex Rodriguez? The pair kept a suspicious distance at the birthday bash of one of A-Rod’s New York Yankee teammates.

But partygoers at Jay-Z’s 40/40 club in the Big Apple on Sunday say it’s clear the pair are together. One said: “She and Alex stayed on opposite sides of the room but they kept glancing and smiling. He didn’t look at another girl.” The pair later escaped through a back door and went to a heliport together.
