In director Michel Gondry’s The Green Hornet adaptation, Seth Rogen plays Britt Reid, heir to his late father’s (Tom Wilkinson) publishing empire and the title superhero, while Jay Chou plays Kato, the martial artist and weapons master who does all of the heavy lifting in the Green Hornet’s crime-fighting exploits.

But, according to Rogen in the latest featurette for Sony’s 3-D action-comedy, Reid’s money and Kato’s skills could only get the dynamic duo so far. It’s Cameron Diaz’s character, Lenore Case, who is “the mastermind behind their whole operation.” And, adds Rogen’s screenwriting partner, Evan Goldberg, Diaz herself just so happens to be “the coolest woman ever.”
