It’s no secret she’s one talented actress, and now Cameron Diaz has been awarded the female star of the year by CinemaCon.

The company’s managing director, Mitch Neuhauser, announced the exciting news earlier today (March 21).

“Since making her debut on the big screen in ‘The Mask,’ Cameron Diaz has continued to capture the attention of audiences around the world with her inescapable charm, innate comedic timing, and unparalleled screen presence,” Neuhauser said in a statement.

Diaz will be picking up her award at a Columbia Pictures event on March 30th held during CinemaCon, which runs March 28 through March 31 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The couple hit Busch Gardens amusement park in Tampa, Florida last Saturday March 13 — and Diaz, 38, looked every bit an aspiring stepmother, breezily holding hands with the Yankee slugger’s daughters Natasha, 6, and Ella, 2.

Diaz has been bonding with Rodriguez’s girls (their mom is his ex-wife Cynthia, whom he divorced in 2008) for a while now; back in December, she was photographed holding little Ella in her arms during a trip to Mexico.

Alex Rodriguez took a break from Spring Training to hit up the rides at Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL this weekend with his girlfriend Cameron Diaz.

A-Rod and Cam rode the SheiKra rollercoaster — which gets up to 70 miles per hour — and then checked out pics of their adventure afterward.

Based on the giddy school boy clapping A-Rod seems to be doing in the last photo, he enjoyed the ride very much — either that or Cameron said they could go for ice cream after.

Stopping by “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” for a quick chat last night (February 24), Cameron Diaz opened up about her upcoming role in “Bad Teacher.”

The blonde bombshell plays a foul-mouthed, pot smoking teacher in the film and admits that in real life she enjoys indulging in a bit of adult behavior.

When Kimmel asked Diaz if she likes watching dirty movies, the actress replied, “I Love Porn!”

Dishing a few intimate details, Cameron continued, “I’m primal on an animalistic level, kind of like, ‘Bonk me over the head, throw me over your shoulder,” she told the mag. “You man, me woman.’ Not everybody has the right kind of primal thing for me…I love physical contact. I have to be touching my lover, like, always. It’s not optional.”

Cameron Diaz joined boyfriend, third baseman for the New York Yankees, Alex Rodriguez at Casa de Campo resort on Feb 12th,  where he was presented with a special award by The Latino Baseball Hall of Fame for hitting his 600th home run.  Rodriguez, whose parents are Dominican, spoke to the audience that included other former players who made up the 2011 Hall of Fame class.

The paparazzi first caught up with the Yankees player stud and his “Holiday” gal as they headed into a local gym in Miami, FL.

Awhile later, A-Rod showed off his impressive abs as he changed shirts before heading off for some baseball practice with Diaz watching lovingly from the dugout.

The 38-year-old actress was just nominated for a Kid’s Choice Award for Favorite Voice in an Animated Film for her work in Shrek Forever After.

“Well, as everyone knows, the kids know their stuff, so I’m always very flattered to be their choice for anything,” Cameron told People. “After all these years, Fiona is very close to my heart and it’s awesome to know that kids around the world love her as much as I do.”
