Cameron Diaz goes out for lunch with her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez to celebrate his 36th birthday on Wednesday (July 27) in Miami, Fla.

The 38-year-old actress joined Alex and his family and friends earlier in the day aboard a yacht for an afternoon birthday bash.

Alex is currently sporting a bandage on his knee after having surgery earlier this month for a torn meniscus. He has been on medical leave from the New York Yankees for the past month to heal.

Taking a respite from their always-busy career efforts, Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez looked ever the domesticated couple in Miami, FL on Saturday night (July 23).

The “Bad Teacher” actress joined her Yankees slugger beau on a trip to the local Whole Foods, as the superstar pair loaded up on household needs before emerging with bagfuls of purchases at separate times.

The sunshine state weekend of togetherness comes as Miss Diaz is on break from shooting her new movie “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” in nearby Atlanta, Georgia.

Meanwhile, A-Rod is still on the 15-day DL for the New York Yankees as he recovers from a minor knee surgery – from which he’s making progress, as the stitches were removed a few days ago.
