Cameron Diaz and A-Rod Vacation in Mexico

Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriquez took a steamy shower together in Mexico, each hosing their toned torsos after taking a romantic dip in the ocean.

Less than a month after reportedly breaking up, the actress and Yankees slugger are doing their best to send an emphatic message to world that they’re very much still an item.

As we reported, the pair was photographed early this week on boat trip in Miami.

The couple snuggled on a luxury vessel as it toured Biscayne Bay; she was wearing a skimpy black bikini and he showing off his buff body without a shirt.

Diaz, 38, and Rodriguez, 35, were first seen together in February flirting at a Miami party the night before the Super Bowl.

Cameron Diaz & Alex Rodriguez: Back Together?

Sparking rumors of a reunion, Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez were spotted leaving a fitness center in South Beach, Miami yesterday (November 23).

The “Sweetest Thing” actress looked a bit camera shy as she rode in the passenger seat of A-Rod’s black Mercedes.

Additionally, Cameron and Alex were seen enjoying a trip on a luxury yacht in Miami Beach earlier this month.

The could-be couple looked to be in trouble last month when Cameron was spotted out with Matthew Morrison, but perhaps she missed Rodriguez and decided to give things another go.

Bad Teacher Moves Into Summer

Columbia Pictures will release the comedy Bad Teacher on June 17, 2011, as school gets out for the summer moviegoing season, it was announced today by Jeff Blake, chairman, Worldwide Marketing and Distribution for Sony Pictures.

The comedy, which centers on a hilariously foul-mouthed, bitter, and irreverent middle school teacher, stars Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, Lucy Punch, John Michael Higgins, and Jason Segel, and is directed by Jake Kasdan, written by Gene Stupnitsky & Lee Eisenberg, and produced by Mosaic’s Jimmy Miller and David Householter.

Commenting on the announcement, Blake said, “We love how this movie is shaping up, and our early test screenings confirm our confidence. We have had tremendous results with summer comedies in the past several years, from ‘Superbad’ and ‘Step Brothers’ to ‘Grown Ups’ and ‘The Other Guys.’ Summer audiences want movies that will make them laugh out loud and we think ‘Bad Teacher’ is the perfect choice for older teens and adults who are looking for a film that will make them look at the high school experience and do just that.”

Cameron Diaz Explores Our Relationship With Food

People ask a lot of questions about food: What does it taste like? How many calories does it have? And who cooked it?

One of the questions we need to ask (but rarely do) is, “Where did it come from?”

The disintegration and sterilization of our relationship with food is only one of the pressing topics that will be featured in a new PBS program called Nourish: Food + Community.

The show will be hosted by actress Cameron Diaz, whom some will remember as the spirited host of the green travel show “Trippin’” that aired on MTV.

Unlike many of the foodie shows on television today, which are little more than live-action recipe cards, Nourish will enlist food movement all-stars like Michael Pollan, Alice Waters, Jamie Oliver, and Anna Lappé to help audiences understand the impact of their food choices.

Cameron Diaz Offered a Role in Dark Puppet Movie The Happytime Murders

What would you get if Hollywood crossed Avenue Q with The Silence of the Lambs? The Henson Company has long been developing an “alternative” puppet project aimed at adults, and it’s suddenly gained traction: Vulture hears Cameron Diaz has been offered a starring role in The Happytime Murders, a mystery set in a world in which humans and puppets co-exist, but puppets are viewed as second-class citizens. No deal has been made yet — Happytime moved to Lionsgate Films only as of last month — but insiders tell us the Diaz camp is excited to read it.

It’s easy to see why talent agencies have flipped out for the darkly comic, anti-Muppet puppet movie: It’s kind of the Muppet movie you’d always kind of hoped Henson would make. And as it happens, a Henson will make it: Regardless if Diaz accepts or demures, we’re told that Lionsgate plans to start shooting Happytime by January with Jim Henson’s son Brian, the Henson Company’s co-chairman, directing. (Just without any actual Muppets; the whole lot of ‘em were sold to the Walt Disney Company in February 2004.)

Still, as one of our spies explains: “This is definitely not a PG-13 movie. They’re not fucking around with this: It’s ‘Go big or go home.’” Vulture can confirm that’s not just hyperbole, having acquired a copy of the script: One scene has a character opening the wrong door at the “Puppet Pleasureland,” and finding a cow puppet on a massage table having all of its teats milked by an octopus puppet. Reads the stage direction: “The cow MOOS in ecstasy. MILK is just SQUIRTING EVERYWHERE.” Sam the Eagle would be shocked. Shocked!
