Thanks to Entertainment Tonight, film geeks have gotten their first look at the upcoming action-comedy Knight and Day, starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz  The film, directed by James Mangold (Walk The Line), follows a mismatched couple– Diaz and Cruise– as they travel the world, engaging in hijinks and various misadventures.

An action-comedy centered on a fugitive couple (Cruise and Diaz) on a glamorous and sometimes deadly adventure where nothing and no one – even themselves – are what they seem. Amid shifting alliances and unexpected betrayals, they race across the globe, with their survival ultimately hinging on the battle of truth vs. trust.

The film was formerly known as Wichita, but that title was abandoned following the realization that Wichita is one of the least-descriptive, audience-repelling titles ever conjured.  Knight and Day seems to fit the action-slash-comedy tone the film’s going to be providing audiences with.  As for the footage screened on ET, you can check it out after the jump.

The official site for Knight & Day was opened today,so far only containing a picture of the characters but there will be more added on the official site soon! During their last day shooting in Sevilla Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz met with local authorities of Sevilla including firefighters, police, and civil protection that have been collaborating with the movie, “Knight and Day” where Tom and Cameron posed for some pictures with the authorities on Dec 17th. Cameron Diaz looks fabulous on the January 2010 cover of Marie Claire UK. Cameron shares with the issue how she has a new outlook on life because of death and concerns for the planet.

She is currently filming a movie with Tom Cruise called Knight & Day. I can’t wait to see them teamed up again.
