Actress Cameron Diaz has confirmed that she will play the female lead in Michel Gondry’s upcoming film THE GREEN HORNET. The film stars Seth Rogen in the title role and Diaz WILL play Lenore Case

Diaz told MTV: “Lenore, yes, and I think that’s all I can tell you or else I would have to kill you. I read the whole script. I know what happens exactly, and I’m not telling you.”

Nicolas Cage is also in talks to play the villain in the movie.

Nicolas Cage and Cameron Diaz are reportedly in talks to appear alongside Seth Rogen in The Green Hornet.

Nic is gunning for the role of villain in the film, while Cameron is up for the main love interest, according to movie magazine Variety.

The film, which will star Seth as the eponymous crime fighter will be released next summer. The Canadian comedian, actor and writer has penned the script with Evan Goldberg. Seth is currently undergoing a strict fitness regime to get himself in shape for the role.
